Other than wearing a bra ...
Other than wearing a bra ... how can I avoid rock chips on the front of my car. My car is black (recently clearcoated) and rock chips show up really really really well. Oh yeah ... I drive fast enough such that even bugs (well maybe not) causes chips too.
I don't want to put a bra or those clear plastic thingie-ma-bobbers (clear front-ends) on my car. Any bright ideas, i.e. extra coats of wax, some magical paint, etc, etc?

How bad could it be chipping? Are you confident in the quality of the prep and paint? I had my front bumper and bonnet painted about 7 months ago when I added the 2K parts, i've gotten maybe two small chips in that time.
P.S. - Pretty sure you'd have to be going ludicrous speed for a bug to chip your paint, but anything's possible, i've read that a tornado has been known to drive a blade of grass into a piece of steel.

My paint job was done ... start of Feb 2002... and I like it much ... but since then I've put about 18k miles on it ... and I've got LOTS of really small chips. I was only kidding about the bug thing. Maybe it's just rocks ... I travel on average 85mph (oops! did I say 85? I really meant the speed limit).
