I got it free when I bought the car. Yes, you switch stations using the touch-screen. Antenna is under the back window on the hat shelf - not on the trunk lid.

I bought the xm unit from sewell a couple of weeks ago (~$280 shipped after the clublexus discount) and did the install myself. It took me about 2 hours altogether because I forgot my instructions that I printed off at work. I did read them beforehand but it would have probably cut my install time by 30-40% if I had them to refer to especially for the wiring harness, which is somewhat complicated.

I mounted the antenna on the inside rear deck instead of on the outside trunk lid as I can see some bonehead having a bad day walking by and ripping the antenna off for kicks.

You can switch channels on the nav or the steering wheel controls but the one shortcoming is that the nav only displays a limited number of characters (15?) despite having much more room.

I'd try to DIY if you can. It's not that hard.
