Programming Voice Mail Prompts into Address Book
Ok, I've read the manual and searched this site. IS350 / Navigation / Bluetooth
I can't figure out how to save a phone entry for my voice mail at work. I have saved my work number under speed dial but I'd like to be able to go right into my voice mail feature without having to use the keypad.
I see wait and I see pause at entry keys but I don't understand how to use them.
When I call my work number (wanting to go to voice mail) I press the star key twice when my voice recording starts, then I enter my security code followed by the number 2. This takes me to new messages.
I've tried adding wait and pause to the number string but it only dials my work number.
Obviously I don't get it. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

use the pause.
store the speed dial like this
999-555-1212-p-**1234 2
Pause= short gap before auto dialing next number
Wait= stops dialing till you manually tell it to do the next sequence of numbers
if a single P is too quick you can double them up.
