Alignment After Lowering?
I asked this question a couple of months back but didn't get any replies because not a lot of people had lowered their cars, let alone had an alignment job done. I've seen a few more threads on this recently so I thought I'd ask again.
So, just curious for anyone who has dropped their ride and have taken it in for an alignment job.
Just wondering:
1. How much of a drop (F&R)?
2. Was the shop able to get it back in to spec again, both F&R and,
3. If they were able to get it back, was it to the nominal/optimal or was it to the max allowable specs?

So, I guess I'll add to my questions and ask: If anyone has gotten an alignment, what specs did you use?

As a general rule, toe can be adjusted, but most vehicles lack camber adjustment without an aftermarket kit. (Most people choose to run with negative camber.)
Also, you may wish to get the vehicle aligned as soon as possible. Bad toe can cause the vehicle to loose traction and will cause premature tire wear. (In the worst cases, it possible to completely destroy the tread on the tire all the way down to where the tire is bald).
