Steve is working on getting the previous group buy item.

If you ask Steve or Luis, I'm sure they can get you the one you posted.

I heard members are having problems with the previous ones from the GB, is this true?

Do most members want this one that you posted? LMK

Not having any problems with the older ones, I think the biggest complaint was the stem or clasp was a little long. Here's what I did to mine and it's actually pretty ok.

just realized something though on the lexs collection ones. it looks like (by orientation of the buttons) that when u stick the key fob in u will no long have acces to the hidden conventional key u take out for when u have someone vallet it. ud have to take the fob out first.

im not trying to be lazy jsut practical lol

I'm interested in the old ones. I already have one, but I wouldn't mind two. That and my friend is getting a new IS250 and I wouldn't mind giving her two. How's setting up the GB going?

Ken, that's a great mod. I think you'll probably win the award for cheapest mod ever!

I'd like the one I posted. But I'd be happy with either. I just want to get rid of the crappy looking case lexus gives you for free.

How about these that I just saw on my recent vacation in Japan in MEGA WEB? They were also at the local Lexus dealership!

Oh, those are the same ones SUPRATRD posted! Just as I suspected, the bottom part is zippered...looks good! I just wonder how functional the buttons would be with this particular leather case.

I also got the Japanese smart key cases.

The buttons on the outside of the case are really functional. I have no problem in pressing the buttons without taking out the key fobs.

The small incompatibility is that the Japanese key fob has 3 buttons, ie, door unlock, door lock and trunk open. Besides the Japanese trunk open button is situated somewhere between our trunk open and the panic buttons. You just have to get used to putting your finger a bit off from where the mark for the trunk open in order to access either the trunk open or the panic buttons.

Note the zipper can come in different colors. The black one comes with a black zipper whereare the tan has a silver zipper.

The inside of the key case is made of very soft material which appears to be suede. See the pictures.

Hope it helps...
