Agree... Blue onyx is already so dark that you have to pay attention in order to tell it's blue....

Also Black Sapphire is a dark black with pearl (if its similar to the paint that BMW is using). Kinda like the SGM but black and not grey.

 

How do you place an order if the final details on packages and pricing are not finalized?

Or are you just putting yourself first in line to special order the 2007?

I was wondering the same thing, seeing as how the pricing isn't updated yet, I believe he's putting them in the 07 line so when ordering becomes available they will be first

Not quite sure actually what I did actually, my purchase order has 2007 as the model year, but the amount I paid was based on the FY06 packages and pricing. I basically wanted every available option, that's why I had to special order mine.

Dealer's email update from yesterday has an ETA of late July to early August, I'm not holding my breath on it, but that's what they're telling me. I'm thinking first week of September my self.

 

Same here. I wanted to get a black on black is350 but the only ones available had headlight washers. So I decided to special order one. But after hearing that sapphire black would be a color option for the 07 my decision was made to get an 07. ETA most likely September but since im in hawaii there is a chance for late august.

 

One dealer told me I can special order a 2007 TODAY. Another dealer told me they can start 2007 special orders the 3rd week of June.

I can say more about Lexus' inconsistency, but I'll hold back.

 

I personally would prefer to not have a moonroof in an IS if I were to get one. No big deal if it comes with the car, but if it's made a seperate thousand dollar option, I most definitely will not check it off if I have the choice. Why? Well, that's a grand, for a hole in the roof. A hole that adds more complex parts to break, a potential leak issue a decade or two down the road, and the potential for additional rattles. Oh, and it robs an inch or two of headroom and adds a bit extra wind and road noise. I see no real benefit to it with all things considered, and I actually use mine in my Audi fairly often - just not often enough for me to justify those other negatives when given the choice..

I'd imagine the first was sort of interchangably using the concept of putting a deposit down on the future order of an 07 IS with actually ordering one.

 

Any more new details on the 07's?

 

So the 07 models usually pop up around September?
