Default Sunroof Wind Deflector Installed?

Anyone have the sunroof wind deflector installed yet? See link: http://www.lexus-parts.com/partdetai...bCategoryID=11

Any pictures? I know this just came out this spring.

I'm intrested in getting one installed or doing it myself if it's easy enough. Any aftermarket kits available? Thanks.

Just out of curiosity, why put this on your car? Do you actually have a problem with wind noise with the moonroof open?

Just wondering, because I think that thing is beyond ugly--it totally ruins the beautiful roofline of the car...

I find that there is quite a bit of wind noise in the cabin when it's open.

I had a deflector in my last car which significantly cut wind noise. I am thinking about getting one for the IS; I didn't pay top dollar for the ML system to be drowned out by wind noise...

I crack the rear windows a little bit, that seems to reduce some of the wind noise.

I agree with the '90s comment. I think wind deflectors were a popular way of letting other drivers know that *you* had a sunroof in your car.

Ditto to cell phone antennae. Now when I see them, it's kind of like...embarassing.

I may still be in the 90's since I have one on my 95 Accord and I like the look. It may be outdated on on a 2006 vehicle nowadays but I still want to see what it would look like on the IS.

I wouldnt have one either. I got one on my 98 pathfinder because back then I really wanted a 4runner (and all i saw had a winddeflector) After I put it on i didnt like it.. it "deflected way too much"

if u hit the recirculating button while the moonroof is tilted up theres alot of wind noise...its on recirculating by default when u start the car...if u set it for pass thru with the moonroof tilted up...its a lot quieter...
