Florida/Southeast Dealerships
Can anyone recommend a dealership in Florida, Georgia, or Alabama that has given reasonable discounts and or great discounts on any of the Lexus cars. I am looking for an IS 350 and I live in West Palm. I want to go to a dealership that believs in DEALING, not STEALING.
Thanks

Hi and welcome to Club Lexus.
Try JM Lexus in Margate. They are #1 Lexus dealer in the world and one of our sponsors.
Pm Shannon here under screen name "JM Lexus". She will give you CL discount.

I would use Wilde Lexus of Sarasota. Just picked up my IS350 there last week. I ordered my car and was able to get $2500 off. Dealt with David Daly. Very knowledgeable and very good to work with. Probably the best experience I've had with buying a new car.

Hey everyone. I really appreciate all of your responses. I am going to go to 3 or four of these dealers and go with the best offer. It seems like the Wilde people were really happy with their deal. Honesty and ethics are very important. I LOOOOVE the IS 350. I am going to start shopping this weekend.
Question: Is there any truth to the claim that dealers base their discounts on whether or not a customer is likely to use the dealer for service? I.E. , you'll get a better deal if you live within 5 to 20 miles of the dealership, as opposed to someone who lives over 100 miles away and will not likely get service at that particular dealer? Just curious.

For the most part it's untrue because sales and service are two different departments. The sales department just wants to sell a car and the service department is happy to make money off you from "warranty work" or "customer pay". At the end of the day it all comes down to earning your business.

Lexus of Clearwater
I worked with Christil Pinkerton. I shopped price at several dealers in the Tampa area. Ultimately we agreed on 901 over invoice and a 599 doc fee, basically 1500 over invoice. Christil was great to work with and I would recomend the dealer. Now all I need to do is decide if I want the Smokey Granite Mica they have in stock or if I want to order a Blue Onyx Mica.

btw, i wanted to shop around and went to JM lexus. they could only match Palm Beach Lexus's price and also, there was a 1 or 2 month wait period so i returned to palm beach the next day and picked it up. they had the one i wanted on hand. talk to raul or jose at palm beach lexus...they are in the finance dept. i think, they would be able to help you out. as far as sales goinig with service, i think it may play a role b/c when i was at JM, they tired to persuade me to buy from them due to the large service facility. but, palm beach is suppose to build a new dealership near turnpike which could be larger than JM so i hear. good luck on your purchase!!!
