All salespeople are required to explain service department benefits because they try to sell the whole package. The last 2 dealerships I worked at they made us give a walking tour to every customer, didn't matter if you wanted one or not. haha

This is all REALLY GREAT to hear. I appreciate reading about your experiences and I feel better prepared to begin my shopping spree. I think this saying fits best : " Caveat Emptor".. BUYER BEWARE!

0% lol yea i figure it was standard procedure with the walkthrough. no i didint check with shannon, and yes i bought it a few days after christmas so that could explain a small discount. i was hoping that jm would beat palm beach's price, but they only matched it.

If anyone has any questions about our current IS inventory, send me a PM. Most dealers in FL have had good feedback on this board. Just do your homework, and buy from someone you feel comfortable with.
Good luck

I picked up my 350 from JM Lexus. I got my car during the last week of December, so the place was hopping. There were a few BS lines the salesperson fed my just to get me to buy a car like I'm stupid and didn't know better. He did however throw in the ML sound system for no extra charge, so I guess I really can't complain.

You guys seem to be getting good discounts. My wife walked into Lexus of South Atlanta today and offered 4% over invoice for a new IS 350 and they pretty much told her to go jump in a lake. She's a repeat buyer at this same dealership and had guaranteed funds in hand. It would've been the easiest sale in their history. So she walked out, time to try another dealer.

JM Lexus says they beat any deal by $500.00. I got my vehicle there, but only after I called all Florida Lexus dealers and got the 3 best prices. I then worked each deal against each other dealer. JM won.

As long as this thread is resurrected -- got my IS350/Lux/Nav/ML from JM last July for around $3,000 less than sticker for a special order. Great people to deal with, and exceptional service.
