Question ML vs Non ML

Hello all,
im in the market for the new IS350 full loaded.
From what i've researched, NY area dont get the ML equipped cars. (even sport pkg seems rare)
anyway my question is, what's the difference between ML and non-ML? except being better sound quality and more speakers.

Can i still hack the Navi with non-ML and play DVDs? or only ML has option to play DVDs?

Only ML can play DVDs. ML is definitely worth the upgrade, the sound quality is amazing. Bass from the ML comes directly from behind, in the non-ML it is muffled and comes from the sides. And that was just listening to FM radio. I havent listened to it with a CD or a DVD audio disc, but I imagine the difference is even more pronounced.

If you can wait, special order a car with what you want exactly. You'll be much happier.

Non-ML Nav systems do not have the DVD player.

If you are a music afficionado, definately get the ML. Otherwise, the stock system is pretty good, and will satisfy the needs of the general public.

I agree. It's better to special order the car that you want it makes it that much better. I have the ML and get a lot of use out of the DVD when I am in the car waiting for the GF

Plus better sound quality due to higher grade components. (The most important difference in my book, but YMMV.)
