Default Question about headlights...

Today I have noticed something strange. I did the following after starting my car:

1) Turned on the headlights
2) Turned on the fog lights
3) Turned off the fog lights
4) Turned off the headlights

My problem is that the headlights stay on... I have to either open and close the front door or turn off the car. Is this normal?

Yes sir I believe it is. Might have something to do with the auto sensing headlights/safety feature. I'm wrong the wrong person to chime in since I don't own a Lexus.

When I turn on the headlights only, I can turn them off without any problems (the switch in off position) .
However, this problem occurs after turning on and off the fog lights - the headlights are still on even though the switch is in the off position...

It seems to me that this problem does not always occur. However, I would be glad if someone could perform a simple test (after starting your car) and let me know your results.

1) Turn on the headlights - the switch in position =D
2) Turn on the fog lights
3) Turn off the fog lights
4) Turn off the headlights - the switch in position off
5) See if the headlights are still on

and

1) Turn on the headlights - the switch in position =D
2) Turn on the fog lights
3) Turn off the headlights - the switch in position off
4) See if the headlights are still on

Many thanks!
