Default Another thing

Also since the tires for the front and back are sized differently...and also if directional.... that would put it down to 25% chance of having the right one in trunk when you got a flat

No they don't. I've only ever seen SC's with run flats.

Run flats are more expensive than regular tires. The sidewalls are rock hard so it drives rougher than regular ones. Most people prefer the soft cushy Lexus ride. If you want to mod it to your taste later then that's up to the individual.

They started with the donut spare last year with the GS and now the IS. It cuts costs and drops extra weight. When I get a flat I don't care if I'm seen driving for a day on a stock or a donut as they are both are ugly.

Ok, 'cause you haven't seen them, they don't exist. Is that like an existential thing.

Kinda like Mark Levinson and PCS on the IS?

In any case, I don't know anybody with runflats on their GS, not even on the forums.

Not really sure, as I have them both. I should have re-phrased in sales-speak... if it's not on the lot, it doesn't exist.

It was intended as joke. A few months ago several people were convinced ML wasn't available on the IS at all until a few of us (myself included) better informed everyone. I guess you learn something new everyday. And don't get me started on salesperson lingo.....
