Default help with installing a bulb

i bought a h11 bulb and i want to install it, no its not hid

its for a is250

can anyone have any pointers? i couldn't get the airbox off, and i have NO idea on how to start on the driver's side.. and also.. my bulb is 100 watts.. i think stock is 55, i was wondering if it would burn my harness?

any help would do! thanks

there's 2 bolts that hold the airbox on...and a rubber grommet on the bottom that just pulls out.

drivers side is simple...pull the washer fluid tube vertically and it will pop off - that'll give you access to both the access doors where the bulbs are.

no clue about the bulbs wattage.

i returned the bulbs, gona go buy a 55w one, how do you pull out the rubber one on the bottom of the airbox? i cant seem to get it out

just pull it up after you removed the 2 bolts it will come off...also you need to unplug the MAF sensor.

Anyone post other more detailed instructions on how to replace the Low Beam light bulbs?

I'm also interested in replacing the Fogs also with Sylvania Silverstars.

Yes, the HID instructions are helpful. You don't *have* to take out the airbox. I didn't, though it was a struggle. If you have large hands, it will be really difficult without taking the airbox out. There's 2 or 3 good posts on the fog light replacement as well.

Cool... Ya I found a few on HIDs... I'll see if I can figure out how to get to the headlights wiht them I have it bookmarked for now.

I still havent found anything on the Fog light repalcement yet. I guess I'm not using the correct search words... anyone have any suggestions what to search?
