I got a Ground Loop Isolator today can can attest it is indeed the best solution. Thanks everyone!

Oh yeah, only creepy thing is that the main FAQ on the issue mentions that groundloops (without the doodad that fixes them) can damage equipment?!

Can you control your ipod from the Nav. Screen? If not, is there a way to add something that you would be able to do that?

doubt it the aux input is an input to the audio system of the car, but theres no output back to the ipod to be able to control it

I'm still waiting for my 250 so I don't have a manual/insrtuction booklet yet. Does anybody know where I could find one online? What I'm trying to figure out is if there is an "Ai-NET" input on the back of the Audio/Nav unit. Does anybody know?
