Default Ipod

I have auxilary input connector inside console for an Ipod.

It requires the purchase of an 1/8 in cable to plug into console which then plugs into Ipod.

My question is will Ipod then work thru the stero system with songs, titles, playlists, etc or will I have to manually use Ipod to accomplish the same?

you will need to control through ipod still. the aux input is nothing more than just like a headphone jack

if you want full REAL integration, you need kits like vaistech

Well, regardless just be happy you have an aux jack. I have an 07 GS350 and my only option is the old school tape deck cable. Awesome! That'll impress the ladies for sure.
