Default Anyone having trouble negotiating a IS350 ?

Hi,

I am in texas and I am having trouble getting a good deal for an IS 350. They are quoting me $39,950 drive out for base model with no navigation. The saiesman even told me before we sat down that price is no haggle, and that this year lexus is going to make limited production. He also claims that production will catch up in around september. With all of this info in mind, that means the price will not drop ?

Your salesman is feeding you a load of crap. Find another dealer if they aren't willing to budge off MSRP.

I am getting the exact same story in Southern California, they're not full of crap if they are all saying basically the same thing. I have been to 5 different dealers and not one of them is willing to come off of MSRP and they are all telling me special order for 350/NAV/Lux/ML

Certain features are certainly going to require special order. Not coming off MSRP doesn't mean it's not possible, it just means the dealers you're visiting are selling all their cars at MSRP so they don't want to deal (in which case, you pay MSRP or you go home) or you're a really bad negotiator.

Lots of people have been getting 1k to 2k off MSRP. In my case I got nearly 3k off. Nor Cal dealers will tell you straight up before you even start looking at the car they will give you 1k off. Go to another dealer....

I guess i will try other dealerships to see. But its kinda hard to negotiate when most of the dealers will show a list of all the cars that is going to come in. There is about 5 cars max on the list they have. I guess I can just wait till september to see how things go.

Our IS350 sport/nav/ML we got $1k off, rear spoiler, and all weather floor mats. Not a great deal but tolerable. I would expect the deals to get much better the longer you wait. The pipeline is filling up. Soon the dealers will have them stacked up on their lots eager to deal them away. If you are financing consider your discount against rising interest rates. If interest keeps going up it may make sense to suck it up and buy now.

Just in case you did not know, Lexus of Kendall and Lexus of West Kendall are the same.

But as you have, I am dealing with both of them, plus JM Lexus and Countyline/Pines Lexus (same owners too).
I have been able to get 500 off MSRP @ Pines. The rest are sticking to MSRP so far. They are selling the IS's like crazy, no need to give discounts.

Just now, we got a call from JM that they had an IS350 with the sport package, 750/month lease...just crazy.

I also called Lexus of Tampa Bay, and Lexus of Orlando....both told me the same thing, I will get the best deal from JM or Kendall, and not to bother with any other dealer in the southeast. No dealers can match the volume of sales of JM or Kendall.

I think I am going to extend the lease on my current IS for six months, and then start shopping, looking for one now is crazy.

I bought the 350 with nav, ml, lux package, park assist for $23xx off sticker. I would just try another dealer thats willing to deal.
