Yeah, I called Lexus Customer Care and they said that it would be out in May. But, I received an e-mail from lexus-parts.com saying it will be released on the 31st of this month. I had placed an order when it was first put on their web site so I will know at the end of the month if it is actually available or not.

I was at a So Cal dealer this week and they said it's 595 installed for Sirius. Never said if it was not available.

I'd be interested in a picture of the display on the ML units.

I received the email from Sewell saying that it would be March 31st but now on the lexus-parts site it now says it is pre-ordering for a May 31st release. I don't want to wait till June!!!

I just spoke to my dealer about this last night because I will be picking up my car in two weeks. They told me that they are being told that the factory install of Sirius have now been pushed off until Fall. My guess is that there are some kind of conflicts since Toyota has contracts with XM.

Yesterday I got an email from lexus-parts.com. The sent out a "wrong" email notification....... the actual ship date for Sirius is May 31...... not March 31. Dooh!

I just spoke to another Lexus dealer, not the one I purchased from and they said they are installing Sirius in the IS now. I am wondering how they have it after reading all this info. They want 675 though. My dealer said when he gets it in it will be 595

Lexus-parts.com was $299 minus 10% Club Lexus discount with an ETA of May 31. Of course that's do it youself, in a box...... or pay for the installation.

The display and functions of a Sirius receiver like a Starmate Replay are dedicated, easy to read, and more complete.

Does anyone know if the Port installed Sirius unit wil have full display just like the portable units for example the sportster?

I can't wait to get Sirius installed. I've been using the Sirius S50 through the Aux Port in the meantime.

So to clarify, has ANYONE got Sirius sat radio installed through the dealer yer? Or is it simply not available to anyone until after May 31st?

For those of you getting it, would you even consider XM? Or would you wait for Sirius?

What they are currently installing is not the factory interface. It is the FM modulator version and my dealer is installing that too but it is not digital quality.
