That is a pretty good find. I will probably check them out when my car arrives. What does the dealer charge for the OEM wheels in chrome?

I wonder how easy it is to care for chrome in snow country. Salt. Rocks, etc.!

There is a dealer on eBay selling a 350/black. The chrome wheels were $1,800. You have to look at his pictures. One of the pictures showed his added cost.

I suspect the chromw will not do well in ice and stuff.
I know the chrome process is better than years gone buy but I still see a lot of rust spots appear.

They have always said that chrome rims do not hold up when in
contact with salt.. PPL usually put a different set of rims for the winter..
But then again Iv'e known ppl that have had chrome for about 4 winters
and they were fine... So myabe if you don't let the salt sit on the rims for
long periods of time you might be ok... "also be sure to wax them during
the winter time, that should help..

It looks awesome with the stock chrome rims, but why would anyone bother bidding
on that car, when they are asking over msrp for it? Plus its a car that was in the showroom
which means about 500 ppl sat in it and played with all the interior buttons..
Also, almost $1900 for stock chrome rims? are they crazy? That's a markup
of about $1,100. You can usually get your stock rims exchanged for chrome ones
at some rim stores for around $800-$900..
