Default Would you do it again?

This one is for current 2nd generation IS owners only. Given your experience thus far, if you had it to do over again.

Nope, I would have bought a 350 instead of a 250

You should have had a couple of degrees of yes. I'm 9.5 out of 10.

The IS is definately most appropriate for me. It has enough power, all the amenities and space that I need, and the reliablity that I can trust.

If only it was a coupe...

Until an IS350 AWD comes out, I'd still take this car.

Definitely!!!! $30k for an incredible looking RWD sport sedan with a manual tranny????? Of course.....there's nothing in that price range that comes close to offering that. I'm loving this car.

I'd probably go with a cheaper car
i love the IS350 and all, it's just i can't get comfortable in it (give it time maybe?)
i was considering a Honda Civic or this (gas mileage was a big deal for me)

Default Damn right I would!

I considered an '06 Acura TL for the value and room, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I would be moving sideways from my G35 sedan. Sure, more bells and whistles and a much more attractive interior, but still a car that has been around several years and doesn't turn as many heads anymore. My IS 350 was considerably more expensive but the enjoyment level alone is worth it. The reaction at work was surprising...in an executive lot with plenty of BMWs and Mercedes my red IS 350 with chrome 18" wheels got plenty of attention. One VP, a real car guy with TWO immaculate black Jaguars, spent 20 minutes checking it out inside and out and asking questions the whole time. I don't think a TL would have gotten that kind of response!

BTW - When I bought my G35 almost 4 years ago I was the rebel when 5 & 7 series BMWs were the status cars. Now there are 4 G35 sedans, 2 G35 coupes and a 350Z in our lot. Maybe my IS will start a new trend...

Bottom line...no regrets!
