Bottom line...no regrets!
Yep, G35s are everywhere these days, infiniti actually sold more of them in 2005 than the 3 series, i know it may be because bmw switched models but still its pretty amazing...

Same car (IS350), but I think I would have opted for Lux package and NAV. Dont like losing auto-light function with my aftermarket HIDs, and wish I hade bluetooth.

Other than that, very happy, blows away my 03 BMW 525

Nah. Probably a 530i... or possibly a 550i depending on how valuable the speed factor is to me. The IS's speed factor has kinda lost it's novelty.

But... I do still like it and will be fine with it for the next 2-3 years. I just really hope BMW gets rid of the amber interior lighting. Uggh that makes it feel dated. I've also decided that I liked the seats and driving position in my '02 325xi (w/sport pack) more. And the more I think about it, the exterior design of the IS is so generic compared to the new 3-series. The IS looks like a cross of a hyundai, civic, accord, and scion.

I was choosing between the IS250 and a Scion tc. If I could do it over again, I would have chosen the Scion... now that the cool features of the IS have already become familiar to me.

I think you might change your mind if you spent some time in the scion. Because all those other features in the IS that you're now taking for granted, like really nice build quality, comfy seats, nice leather, quiet, etc. will all be degraded quite a bit in the scion.

Although it is a decent looking car.
