Hey guys, I'm thinking of taking my IS250 in next week to get a clear bra installed. I heard 3M bra's are really good but the place I'm planning on taking my car to don't use 3M. They use LLUmar. Has anyone here heard of or installed this brand?

Premier Mobile
Since you are here in CA, I would highly recommend Premier Mobile Group. They will come to you and there work is amazing. I had them wrap and tint my 350 and I am very pleased with the custom job they did on my car. I will post their info and contact below for you. Sam and his crew are very professional and I know many here would be glad to recommend their work.

Since you're near the LA basin, I highly suggest CL vendor...Aerotect as they have been utilized by many of our own ClubLexus Moderators and Administrators. They utilize Venture and 3M films and can handle custom bumpers with no issues and you don't have to wait long. You call, setup an appointment, you bring in your car or they can come to you...and they're done. They work on multi million dollar aircraft and exotic autos as well.

Here's my car that was just finished at Aerotect's previous location at the El Monte Airport. They are now at the Brackett Field Airport just outside the Pomona Fairplex facility.

My dealer says they install the clear bra in their shop. If I buy I want to do this but if I lease I probably won't. The dealer said they do not install any film on the actual bumper since it is plastic but only on the hood, part of the front fenders and rear view mirrors.

Can't rocks chip the paint off of the front bumper? Should I be looking elsewhere for a professional install to include the front bumper?

Yes, rocks can easily chip the front bumper. In fact, that's where most of the chips occur. I would definitely recommend a clear bra that also covers the bumper.

Yes, your front bumper prob takes the worst beating. If your going to do it, I would find a shop that will do the whole front of your car right the 1st time...
