I just completed this today on an 08 IS-F. I had the wiring diagram as well to confirm everything. there are some other places to tap into these wires but the dash removal is not too bad. My complete upper AC grill assy came out as one peices not just the front bezel, but that was the only audable.

this hack has worked really well for me for months. but as i was driving from LA to Bay Area watching The Matrix, i got several blinking black screen flashes. i put in another dvd and it did the same. found that the only thing that got rid of it were a few hard taps to the screen. anybody else experience this? could it be loose wiring?

 

Is there any recommended vaistech installer in Orange county? I'd like to install the Sl2vi and do the hack at the same time...

If you add a switch you can temp. open the "enter destination" functions.
