Default a brief tutorial on saving nav addresses?

Honestly, I have gone through both the Nav Quick Guide and the Nav System Owner's Manual and I cannot find a simple description of how to enter, save and retrieve addresses. On my BMW (which I traded for the IS250 AWD), you typed in the name, city, street, street number, and then it was automatically saved into memory. When I then went to my "Address Book," all of the names were listed alphabetically.

How do I do this on my IS250? Do I use the Register function? If so, how?

Gen4 works like this and I'm pretty sure Gen5 works this way also...

1. Go to Menu>My Places

2. Select "Register"...

3. Enter the address you want to save.

You can choose an icon, add phone number, etc.

That's it. Whenever you want to retrieve the address, press Destination>Memory

*you can also register several addresses as 'Quick Touch' which appear as one-touch buttons on the 'Destination' menu that you can access while the car is driving.

*also, whatever address you have used casually, but don't need to save long-term, is in Destination>Previous.

Hope this helps!
