Hi, I have an IS250 AWD on order with the premium leather-moonroof package (Canada). As much as I don't want my payment to go up $100 I am worried I will regret not getting NAV. I could really use the bluetooth. I never get lost...
I struggled with the same question when I was buying my Lexus.
I did get the navigation system and don't reget it one bit.
Turns out I use it constantly, not so much for directions as I do for information. Remember, the points of interest database has address/phone information for EVERYTHING you could think of.
I like always having numbers at my fingertips, want to order a pizza for dinner, punch the name into the Nav and make the call right there from you car, pick up the pizza on the way home. Resturant reservations, simple with the Nav.
It's also handy for those few occasions where I do actually need directions
I was so happy that I got it in my second GS300. Like others have said, I will never get another car without it. You don't realize how much you will use it until you have it.
Sometimes mapquest or yahoo maps aren't around and paper maps take too long, nav is totally worth it. I got it on my IS350, sometimes I get lost when I switch to driving my 240sx.
features offerred on the IS. It has that helpful little back up camera too. There are new Bluetooth functions and the Audio text messaging besides the new improved VGA monitor. Later you should add the Satellite Radio IMO. Use the Nav to come visit the US.

Once you have nav, you can't ever go back!
I had a nav in my last Lexus, loved it. Then I got my current IS, thought nah! I'm okay without it, now I pratically curse myself everytime because I don't have it anymore.
