I think it would matter if its 17 or 18 inches, unless they are both the same widths.

I would actually like to know this info also. What's the width and offset of the stock rims?

I believe the offset on the stock rims is 38 - 45mm and the widths vary between 225-255.

Wheels
IS350/IS250 - 17 x 8 JJ

Available Wheels
IS350/IS250 RWD - 18 x8 JJ front, 18 x 8.5 JJ rear

Tire Size
IS350/IS250 RWD - P225/45VR17 front, P245/45VR17 rear
IS250 AWD - P225/45VR17

Available Tires
IS350/IS250 RWD - P225/40YR18 front, P255/40YR18 rear

im seriously itching to do some wheels. i have been seeing really nice used wheels from GS/SC owners and wondering what would fit. most of the wheels i see for sale im not able to test fit. ive looked at the clearance inside the wheel well and im sure a 9.5" wide wheel is not an issue in the rear but looks like its going to need maybe a 45 or higher offset. i know the 1g IS needed high offset wheels hopefully the 2g can accomodate a lower offset. i like my wheels to have some lip on the rear staggered. hopefully someone can shed some light on this. im sure there are plenty of 250/350 owners dying to know what we can fit.

some interesting info, discounttiredirect.com has listings for wheels that fit the IS 250/350. the offsets vary from 30-42+ with widths between 8-9" ill probably try to call tomorrow to confirm that this info is correct.

Here is the correct offsets for both 17" and 18" wheels for IS250/350. This is from the Lexus 2006 New Car Features book which I have here.

There is also a 16" option but it is only for the 250.

17 x 8 JJ, 45mm (both AWD/RWD)
18 x 8 JJ 45mm (both AWD/RWD)
18 x 8.5 JJ 50mm (RWD's rear)

The 16" option is only for the 250 as the 16" will not be able to clear the front brakes for the 350. Canada used to have the 16" option a few years ago and no longer does has this.

Lexus Japan however does have the 16" option available.

Would be useful for winter tires for the 250(s).

Hello, does anybody knows what ET (offset) suitable for lexus IS250 2006-2011? From 35-45 or from 38-45.

Or it's not of importance? Thank you.
