Default 2006 Is!

Are there ANY pictures or even sketches of the next generation IS at all???
I'm just wondering wheather or not it will be as good as the current IS300.

Also, what's the redesigning cycle of the IS300 (like ES does it evey 5 years)???? thanks again.

i'm not that well versed in the technical detail of the questions you asked.
from a logical approach here's how i would answer you- is being in its first generation, the re-generating cycle can be, of course, very dynamic. having that said, it's not impossible that there's concrete literature avalibile.

there are some pix on the is concept car. it looks sweet.

Though there are a few exceptions, (like the Prius) most Toyota / Lexus products are redesigned on a 5-year cycle.....4 for Honda / Acura. We will probably see the present IS through the end of next year and an all-new model for 2006. Details on the 2006 are a little sketchy but rumor has it it will be based on the LF-S concept car....unfortunately, a car whose looks I am not enamored with.

Not to take away anything from the IS, but that concept car looked too advanced or sophisticated to be an IS. It looks as if it could be in the league of Porsches or Ferraris in terms of performance or even just styling. But that's just my feeling. Can't wait to see what the new IS will look like...
