Ok long story short
09 is250. Auto, 221k miles. Trans fluid never swapped by previous owner after getting the service sheets from lexus. (All services done by lexus dealer) .
Heres were it gets weird, when the vehicle temp is cold. Doesn't slip in 1st (1st is the only issue). Yet when I get to temp, skips violently.
If I turn off vsc and all trac control stuff no slip or I don't notice it.
I know these are "sealed" units. Yet I know there is a way to change the fluid. Yet in scared to do that since I've had it where they fail afterwards.
Would Lucas stop slip help or make matters worse?
