Default Interior door leather

The leather on the door of my 2006 IS250 is getting torn and sticky. Is there a nice way to cover up the leather or anything?

This is a common problem for multiple cars from Toyota and Lexus. The ZLZ program from Lexus which covers this has concluded. Search the forums for "Sticky Dash".

The ZLZ program's primary expiration ended in 2021 (all vehicles) and secondary expiration is 10 years from date of manufacture. Unfortunately, the OP's car no longer qualifies for the free replacement. He'll have to order the panels himself and change them, or visit an upholsterer and see what they can do. He can also try reaching out to Lexus corporate, but they'll likely say the same thing.

1 new door panel is about 700.- depending from the color and materials package. Add shipping, total around 800.- for one!

You can fix some of this with Sugru. I repaired some cracks and areas of deformation with it. The areas where it is yellow can be significantly hidden. You can also blend the surrounding texture into the repaired areas. It can be complicated to do, but I have repaired areas on my IS350 with this and have had great results.
