Anybody out there Restore their interior door panels? Mine are a little faded. No tears on leather or anything. I just wanted to see if it would be better for me to grab some good used ones or restore these. Any opinions? Please help.

 

I've only had to replace one of my door panels, the drivers door due to a small tear at the top. However, you can recondition yours very easily. I've been using the following products for years. Works wonders on the interior!

For the leather insert: Leather honey leather conditioner
For the hard plastic: Meguiars vinyl & rubber conditioner (#40)
For the carpet piece: Upholstery cleaner
For the speaker grill: Upholstery cleaner (spray some on a towel and wipe down do not spray directly on the grill)

 

Dude, just rub some bacon over it and it’ll look good as new.

 

Griots garage interior cleaner works really well on all surfaces especially leather. After cleaning the tan leather in my GX it looks several shades lighter. I had no idea how much dirt was on it especially the armrests
