Angry OBD not connecting

Sup,

I have tried 3 different OBD scanners now. One from Bosch, SnapOn (didnt even know that you could get them in Germany) and a noname from Ebay.

The noname was able to access the airbag control unit, a while ago but nothing more. The others couldn't see anything at all.
Do you really need the scanner / techstream from Toyota? It can't be that they block so much...

I'm just asking this to get information.

While the scan tools are connected. Do you have the car in the "ON" position, or the car on..... off?
