I have a 2010 Lexus IS250 that has a wacky stereo, It randomly ejects CD, switches between blue tooth. radio Am and FM.
Sometimes I can go most of the day with it working and other days it jumps around so much I just have to turn it off.

Is it hot and humid in your area? See if it happens later in the day or at night when the temp drops down.

the highs have been 55 and lows 30 so don’t think it’s the weather. I did notice that it seems to get worse when I go over a bump in the road. Could it be some loose wiring?

 

Hmm hard to tell, it could be a corroded wire or grounding issue?

What's the condition of the steering wheel controls? Any past spillage that might be in play?

 

I have the exact same issue with my 2010 IS250 - a ghost in the machine!.
It happens mostly when I first get into the car on a hot day. It can be simulated by pressing the MODE button on the steering wheel.
It only seems to have happened since the airbag was changed in a product recall.
Any more clues, anyone?
