Hi
Lexus Rx450h 2010.
The radio/Cd works perfectly until I turn the engine on. After that it turns on and of randomly.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

 

By engine on do you mean the issue starts immediately just sitting there, or occasionally while driving with the normal road vibrations and bumps?

The simplest thing to try first, press volume button and steering wheel mode button a bunch of times (and try holding mode button down for a couple secs), make sure the radio responds normally, and feel normal in operation. This might help tell you if its a flaky button or something else.

 

Thanks for your advise, the radio is instantly shot off, when I push the engine on.

 

I did what you recommended but no luck.
