Default Can You Install a Second Tow Insert

Still looking to mount a brush guard, can you DIY a passenger side tow hook symmetrically with the factory drivers side one?

It won't be easy but it could be done. You'll need a repair shop, a plan, maybe rob some parts from another car. I suggest you look through all photos of IS with bumbers off and work on your plan. It could be the whole thing is fabricated from scratch.

Please share this "brush guard" you've found for these cars. I'm seriously interested.

My IS350 is at stock ride height and can't handle a steep driveway without scraping -- I can only imagine how quickly I'd get stuck if I foolishly took it off-road.

Can I assume you guys are "seriously interested" in a brush guard on the IS for cosmetic reasons?

I live in a remote area with lots of wildlife and high speed chases. I have a newer model full size tuck but the Old Lexus gets 29 mpg and I need the good mpg as I commute an hour two and from work.

I can say that my "serious interest" is curiosity alone, and to help cure my confusion as to why someone would ever need or desire a brush guard for these cars, unless they're building some sort of Mad Max themed art car.
