Default Power button does nothing

My 07 IS250 won't start after I parked it over night. Pressing the Start button does nothing. It doesn't turn orange or anything. I've disconnected the battery overnight and then recharged it just in case. I've checked some fuses but not all the fuses yet. Whatever I thought might prevent the car from starting. The key fob does unlock and lock the doors and I have a second key fob which also doesn't get it started. For whatever reason the gauges don't come on as well. Anyone have any tips that can help?

Possibly a ground cable that has broken or become corroded? Any chance when the car wouldn't start you tried to jump-start it?

could be your fuel pressure sensor, a common issue!

Years ago it wouldn't start and the tow truck driver did a trick where he hooked up the ground to the engine and the positive to the battery and it started. I took out the battery and the stuff underneath to clean the ground and it worked for years. I did try to jump start it with this method and it didn't work.

I was thinking of this and was going to disconnect a wire to see if at least the gauges come back. The only problem is that says the gauges come on with ACC but nothing like that happens for me. I will try to disconnect the wire as directed by this video and see if the gauges come back to life.

The sensor for the brake light switch may not be telling computer you're stepping on the brake pedal. I would check that switch first.
See the video around 08:00 minute mark

Seen that video but it's not the problem I have. At least Samcrac got a key not detected. I get nothing. You can hold the key up and press the power button all you want, but nothing happens. The key fob may blink a red light and even then rarely. I did check to see if it's the fuel pressure switch, and nothing. I also check fuses that I felt would effect this.

Something I wanna add is that I can't even move the car in neutral. I use a screw drive and move the shifter to neutral and I can't push the car. The tow truck driver even used a dolly to tow it home.

This person had a similar issue, and yes my carpet is soaked. Sister is a pot head and she keeps spilling her drinks in the car. Maybe I need to let the carpet dry completely?

Lol. I was about to post that link. Well anyhow I found this one on the ES forums as well. It looks like it was a loose connection under one the engine bay fusebox connections after all.

I also found another thread where people had a similar problem. @Dave1931 had this problem and eventually one day it just started. No mention of a wet interior but I wouldn't be surprised if he also had a wet interior. I'm going to leave the doors open and let the car dry out until Friday and if the car doesn't come light up the start button orange and ACC can't be turned on, then I'll remove the seats and carpet and properly dry it out. Not the first time I've done this, and it's the same reason as before. Before the interior got so wet that a wire in the door step that was meant to light it up but doesn't exist on my model IS250 would short and melted which would take out the interior lights. As it is right now I can't even hook up a scan tool to the car to see what's wrong because I can't turn on ACC mode.

Yes, I saw that one as well. I recommend to check out threads related to AC drain blockage, and Sunroof Drains. There are many threads on these issues. Necessarily it might be one of those issues instead of spilled drinks. If im not mistaken with these problems the carpet should be drenched to the rear seats. Depending on the side. The AC drain on my AWD was on driver side. It's a PIA to remove from where it's located. The reason for removing was to alleviate the musty smell of AC after its been shut off for awhile.

Enough water that the rear carpets were dripping with water when removed. No leaks, just dropping coffee and water bottles and then her kids would step on them when entering the car.

Plugged it in today and still didn't start. I noticed the security light is constantly blinking. Not sure what that means? Got a feeling this is a security feature causing this. Found this video and can't make heads or tails of what he's saying.

What I'm gonna do is change the Power Supply Control Module 89670-53010. I ordered one for $35 off Ebay. From what I've read that this module fails and will cause the same symptoms. I could do some tests but I'm too lazy. Does anyone know where this is located? I think it's in the right dash area but not entirely sure. Found some photos but again not entirely sure where.

Got the new to me power control module and plugged it in and still no power. Also the module sits right above the glove box which is easy to get to. I did more testing and found that the ACC fuse (#12) 7.5A has no power. Fuse is fine, but doesn't get any power. I don't now what feeds power to ACC fuse.
