Unhappy Electrical Issues

Hello forum!

I just have quite a few issues with my Lexus IS250 2008 model as listed below:
  • Engine rumbles at times
  • Clock does not work properly
  • Reverse camera guide does not work properly
  • Temperature gauge does not work at all
  • Fuel indicator jumps around and does not give an accurate indicator of the fuel remaining
  • Headlights are weak
  • Multi-information display does not work except for the speed of the car
  • Powersteering does not work
  • Break system warning light on
  • SRS warning light on
  • ABS warning light on
  • P/S warning light on
It's quite a long list and I have come to think its an electrical issue. I have checked with an electrical car mechanic and he mentioned it had something computer responsible for communicating with the electrical units not working. However, the mechanic himself has never seen this issue before and I am unsure about where to go next with this.

Any help possible would be much appreciated.

Looks like some hooked up the battery backwards. Do a search for checking fuseable link. It's under a clear cover by the battery. Hard to see accurately actually. It's like checking a regular ATC fuse, look for an opening in the Z. If one is found, replace the whole fuseable link.

All connections should be checked for corrosion, loosening, burning. Have a shop check battery snd alternator.
