I remember I had the same issue and had to play around with it a few times. I got it to work, but the aftermarket screen and the DVD player didn't quite connect/align perfectly with each other.
Do not tighten any bolts on the bracket. Try to see if you can hand thread in all four bolts a little ways first.

The problem for me is that the unit sticks out ALOT. There is a good inch of headunit sticking out. I don't feel like whatever I do will solve this. I think a different processor/nav unit that is slimmer would be ok, but that isn't what I have.
Never mind. I went through the rest of the guide and at the very end is a statement saying the cavity in the dash of the IS250C is too small and you need to split the processor and nav unit and place one in the glovebox etc to allow the unit to fit. You also need an extension cable.
Can't believe that statement was right at the very end haha!

I just finished installing my Teyes CC3 model A (so my own unit had the white background) in my 2011 IS250. All the buttons work, AC buttons work, OEM radio plays audio, CD player plays audio, steering wheel buttons appear to do stuff like it shows the volume go up and down, but there is no sound that comes from the head unit itself. I connected bluetooth music and nothing. I tried playing a youtube video on the unit, nothing. Anyone else ran into this problem or know the fix?

This is the exact issue I have now. It's booked into a local audio shop but not for about another week. I'll post what they find.
Maybe check the fuse to the audio amplifier (amplifier is under the boot floor).
I have 2012 is250c and I play songs from the usb on android 10.2 zeta .
When the lights off i can press forward and backward on the steering with no problems. But when lights on there is only backward and the forward button dosent work.
Not sure if I should add to this thread or start a new one -- looking at getting an Android head unit installed in my 2010 IS350C. It has Navi, but I don't think it has ML sound.
I first ordered a Phoenix Automotive tesla-style unit -- looked great, but many bugs in the software, hazards stuck on, and support was slow and inconsistent. I eventually had to do a chargeback as they wanted me to pay return shipping on the defective unit. Wanted to love the unit, but the company and support was really disappointing. Can't seem to talk to anybody except tech support, so that became a non-starter.
Tried an amazon chines noname unit instead, came with the wrong harnesses -- so that one likely has to go back as well.
I'm reading this thread about the Teyes unit, and sounds like its more well known and perhaps a better option. I'm trying to figure out if it'll fit my car given the harness issue I had with the second unit -- how can I tell if I need "A" or "B"? Maybe I just didn't find the info that explains it. Just want to make sure if I'm ordering off Aliexpress (I'm in Canada) that I'm getting the right unit the first time around, or if it won't fit, I don't waste anybody;s time and expense.
I'm also wondering about backup camera options -- does this unit support wireless? Because I have the 350C, I'm concerned about running any wiring back there for an aftermarket camera. I've seen wireless backup camera options, but not sure if the head unit needs to specifically support that. Again, any suggestions appreciated if anybody has experience or knowledge with this.
Finally, any other units that are recommended? My main thing is to add Android auto to the car, the factory head unit is dim, scratched, and dated. I don't want to overspend given that the need is pretty basic, but they seem to range from $200-$1000, based on RAM, storage, and accessories. How much RAM and storage do I actually need? Does it make a difference on performance etc?
Sorry for all the questions. Just taking a third try at this so hoping I'm asking the right questions this time around. I've attached pics of the front and back of the factory unit, the labels I can see on it to identify the components, and the factory connectors I have in case they help.
