Bluetooth vs Headunit (2001 IS300)
Hi all! I'm currently in the market for a transparent sounding headunit (no dvd/extras) or a simple bluetooth adapter that fits into the back of my stock stereo. (2001 Lexus IS300)
I figured instead of an aftermarket headunit, it would be nice to keep the original OEM but have bluetooth functionality to connect my iPhone and stream FLAC HQ music.
(Unsure if this route will affect my plan of upgrading my stock speakers, adding amplifiers, etc.)
Right now I'm looking into these bluetooth adapters:
VAIS SL3B-L
Grom B3
(Links below)
The prices of these units are very dear and could easily cost as much as a double din touchscreen headunit, I'm curious to know if it does its job better at preserving sound quality than others.
Has anyone had experience with these products or would advise against it?
If so please share your experiences!
