Default Do Lexus have cracking dashboard problems?

Is this unusual only in extreme climate environments not the fault of the composite material in the interior?

The passenger airbag portion tend to melt and become sticky. A problem I have in my 03. Its not really noticeable unless you are cleaning or touching it.

I would say its the material, since this is the only portion of the dash that actually melts in my experience.

IS300's do not have a cracking issue with dashboards. the 02-05 model years were plagued with a "sticky" melting dash issue. 2001 IS300's did not have this issue and are distinguished by their two tone appearance (black, and dark grey)

How does one go about dealing with the sticky, melting dash issue? My passenger side front airbag cover is a mess!
