p0420 & p0420p Codes on 03 Sportcross
Guys I'm looking for a little help here. I've dug through some previous threads on this CEL and I haven't been able to find anything similar to the symptoms. I'm really looking for some guidance.
-CEL on for P0420 and P0420 P. Cat inefficiency.
-Car has strong sulfur smell after some spirited driving and high RPM.
-Traction control light is also flashing, not sure what that has to do with the CEL.
From what I've read, I cant really point my finger at the exact failure and I'm hoping that someone here has had a similar problem and knows what the issue is. With my general knowledge, the sulfur smell should point the finger at a fuel pressure regulator. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks in advance for any and all input!

mine had same issue. Cats are bad.
