Hi Everyone,
New to the forum and looking forward to being part of the group. I am the very proud owner of a red 5 speed manual 2002 IS300 living in Olathe KS.
My car suffered from the dreaded sticky dash issue and while the '02 IS300 is not part of the courtesy warranty recall, my dealership suggested I call Lexus Customer Care to log the issue. They came through and replaced the dash. Thought I'd pass it on.

Hope this helps.
Was told by corporate lexus that they were making case by case evaluations of cars not listed under the courtesy recall. Had to prove sticky dash with pics. Car was fixed within three weeks of my call.

Called the # and talked to a lady. She first said My car 02 Sportcross was not on the list. Told her you were approved to get your 02 replaced, and she said that there was nothing she could do. She suggested I speak to Hendicks Lexus about it. Any more guidance you could give me?

Hi, Bummed that customer care didn't help you out. You might try taking it to Lewis Toyota in Topeka, I think they work on Lexus. See if the service staff will verify the sticky dash and make a call for you. Also take some pics that can be sent to corporate.
