Aftermarket shifter?????

Has anyone bought an aftermarket shifter? I bet the stock one gets really hot in the summer.

I like the stock one, it does kinda get hot, but I don't care. It just screws on, so not hard to change. If you want to change it, please don't get one from pep boys

yea the chrome ball gets a little hot during the summer.....so i bought the TRD leather one.....perfect fit and it matches my interior leather

I have the PHR Short Shifter and it no where near as hot. It is more like an aluminum ****, so it still works real well with the interior, but just not as hot. Obviously, the shorter throws are much nicer too.

Where did you all purchase your shifters from??? How much were they?

If you order directly from PHR, the short shifter is $299 from them. The shifts are MUCH more accurate and crisp. The length is more of what you have expected from the factory too.

If you're only worrying about the summer heat, then it's much cheaper to just replace the shift ****. There's a group buy over at is300.net where you can get Altezza leather shift **** cheap.

Seriously dont get one at pep boys. i like the shifter, now its cold cuz its like 20 degrees here but, i like it becuase it is different.
