I just purchased my second IS300 last friday. My first was an 01 with 150K miles I paid $7K for. I bought it from the original owner. The one I picked up Friday is an 03 with 194K miles for $3800! It needs a little body work but had the TB, WP, pwr steering pump, and a few other things done. The only reason I sold the first one was because I was set to deploy again and didn't want 2 cars sitting.

it really depends on the car. It could be worth it if the car was well taken care of. It's sometimes hard to tell if it was cared for for 184000 miles or if it was beaten for 184000 miles. The interior could also help you decide with that, if the inside looks clean with no scuffs and what not it's more likely to have been owned by someone that cared about the car, than if the inside is all beat up. do you know why the dash was re-done?

225k is pretty up there, although lexus' do last really long. read what i said up there ^, and ask if the timing belt has recently been replaced, cause if not that could lead to other problems.Originally Posted by 11secsrt4
