question about paint?
whats up guys? ok so my question is what is the best way to fix chipped paint. I've heard a bunch of different ways but i want to know what you guys think. while i was driving home after i got out of the air force, long trek on the interstate, i got behind gravel trucks at one point and that lead to paint chips. i am getting it repainted at the end of this year, but i was wondering what you guys thought about a fix until then?
yea they make them, well toyota fill pens (same thing haha) just didn't know how well they worked.

if the paint is just chipped and no peeling, the touchup paint from the dealer should be good.
if there is peeling, it will continue to peel unless it is properly addressed.
normally this doesnt happen unless it has been painted before and the person didnt use any flex additives on the bumper.
i work at a body shop. and we see this all the time.
it is possible to go through insurance too.
we have had a lexus gs350 come in and had 3/4th of the car repainted due to rock chips.
including the side mirrors.
