Default techno spoiler

this is how my car would look with a "Techno R2 OEM spoiler"......should i get this? my bro says that lexus IS shouldn't swing the style of having big wings, and suggested that i should get a rear lip spoiler. "big wings are too out of fashion", is that legit? or is it just personal preference?

what should i add with the spoiler (like exterior parts)? im trying to save money, so i dont want to go for a whole body kit.

Your brother is right, not to be racist to my own kind but that spoiler is really ricey. You should go for the TRD or Altezza. The stock wing is also nice too ( i have one for sale same color as your car and im in socal!)

heres what my altezza wing on my car looks like

heres the stock wing

Just my opinion, but that Techno wing looks horrible on the IS. If you have no plans for a body kit, I would go with the OEM lip spoiler. You may even be able to find somebody with an OEM spoiler willing to trade trunk lids with you. If the other party wants to add an L-tuned spoiler, it will save them the cost of filling holes and repainting, and you won't have to drill new ones to install the spoiler.

seen the techno on guys car in canada, actually worked well on his car just cause he got his fenders flared and pulled, without the fenders flared the spoiler looks way out of place
