can you ask a friend that maybe has an is300 to test?
try checking your fuses too?

I have one of the only 1jz's around my area. I've been reading a lot of the cam and crank sensors. any suggestions?

yes both pins will have 12v power, the ecu grounds the circuit. Definitely check the crank and cam sensors by doing a resistance test, and also check the continuity to make sure the ecu is getting a signal from them. It could also be possible you have a bad ignitor or ecu

Could it be that i dont have enough engine grounds? i have a chase bays harness and it is wired to an aristo 2j ecu.

Im not familiar with the chase bays harness, the factory harness has two grounding points on the intake manifold.

on the factory harness the cam and crank sensors are grounded to the E11 wire/pin. make sure the E11 and all the other "E(x)" pins at the ecu are getting continuity at the intake manifold ground(s)

maybe thats it. i have no intake manifold grounds. i could just be lacking ground continuity. I only have a ground through chasebays harness and a ground going to the firewall from the cyl head. hopefully thats the problem.
Thanks!
