Default Proud to have an IS300 as my Daily :D

After 3 cars, I've finally found something I enjoy driving anywhere. It's a black 2001 Lexus IS300 it had 156XXX miles on it when I picked it up. Originally $7500 but when I drove 4 hrs to look at it, no way I was going to pay $7500 for it, so I took it home for $6500 interior was BAD! dog hair everywhere! Big patch of mold on carpet I had to cut out in order to remove the smell. Motor ran great when I test drove it, that's what sold me the car. Drove home not knowing there where only 2 qrts of oil in the motor and no coolant, blessed to have it home. Previous owner didn't really take care of it. Had a bird nest in the engine bay hahah. Painted the stock wheels ricer color two-toned so I strip it. Lot's of things I was **** about, even thought about selling it at one point after just 4 days of ownership, but it's slowly creeping up on me. Here's some pics.

Nothing big happening in the future. It's going to be my daily. Coilovers and a nice set of wheels and an intake will probably be good for me already haha. Probably new paint job in the future.

Here's my previous car, DB2 GSR Integra that I sometimes miss.

Congrats man! I wouldn't even worry about repainting the car. The original paint will hold its value better, plus with a process and a few products, you can have the Black Onyx looking amazing! Great move on stripping the wheels also, not of fan of painted stocks. Looks like it's coming along well!
