The 16" wheels and cloth alone do not make it rare...a number of those were produced. (except in yellow). What makes it rare is the fact it has the sunroof with the 16" wheels and the cloth. I don't think I have ever seen one like that myself.....sunroof, cloth, 16" wheel package.....unless that is an aftermarket sunroof. The factory sunroofs pretty much came with the power seats, leather, and 17" wheels.
I have a rare 2001 myself....a yellow base model with the 16" wheels, no sunroof, and cloth....just the way I wanted it. Lexus tells me that only 2 were built this way......in yellow......if you can believe them.

That's not true. I've seen a handful of Cloth seat interior w/ factory moonroof. Moonroofs are a standalone option but are often packaged with the leather or alcantara(escaine) value packages. 16" wheels was a stand alone option as well.

OK...I'll take your word for it that you've seen them....but they ARE rare in this area. Perhaps SoCal's generally warm, dry climate makes them more popular where you are....as are the lousy-in-the-snow 17" summer tires.

We do, of course have plenty of sunroof IS300's in this area but they are almost without exception the way I described them...with other options.

One thing we BOTH will agree is not rare is the silver color.

No but what is rare is seeing a nav model IS Sport-X w/no moonroof and in Bluestone. Now that's rare.

What you are taking about is SUPER-rare. ANY SportCross is pretty much rare.

HAHAHAHA, why thank you very much Flip

Its very nice of you calling my car rare, not like my cousin, which refers my Sport-X as an roof-less abnormal freak LOL
