Default Need advice

I'm looking into getting BRian Crower stage 2 cams. Should I change my valves springs and retainer or can I leave the head stock and just change the cams.

the website says its cool to leave the stock springs.

what are you going to use to tune your car? you may want an adjustable gear as well.

Any particular cam gears preferred?. So a stock head with cams is fine? Not sure what I'm gonna use to tune any suggestions?

HKS Cam Gear

There are a lot of ways to tune your car from the basic to the stand a lone. Not sure what your goals are with you car. For the basic you can tune it with an Apex'i AFC (lots of different versions) or an AEM EMS.

The 2JZxxx is a great engine and tolerate a lot, but make your AFR and everything is tuned right, so that you can enjoy the engine.

I want a little more power as of right now until I can boost the motor.

Upgrading cams will require a few other components to also get upgraded. Cams will demand more oxygen and fuel, so be sure to have a clean intake and injectors. It also wouldn't hurt to change ur spark plugs if you haven't already done it.
