I know what you mean about the wheels, they were a little too aggressive for me too. I just got some new wheels, I went 18x9 +35 all around & tires 225/40 & 235/40. It looks way more sportier & handles better cuz more rubber is making contact

look into some really good road tires...lots of people under estimate the importance of using the right tires for road racing/autocross setups. also, look onto lightening up your ride with a carbon fiber hood, trunk, and even fenders. then you can also get some racing seats for the drivers side, then mount your battery in the trunk...weight transfer is also overlooked by most of the novice level road racers. you wont believe how much just shedding even 50lbs of weight can make a difference in your cars handling. your definately in the right direction.

Quoted; SO I BOUGHT MY IS300 IN LATE OCTOBER 2011... SINCE THEN MY GOAL HAS BEEN TO FINE TUNE THE SUSPENSION CUZ I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE IS, EXCEPT FOR THE SUSPENSION. I THINK LEXUS FELL SHORT IN THAT ASPECT. SO THESE ARE MY LATEST UPGRADES...
I think the balance between ride and handling is one of the better aspects of these cars IMO
