Getting my is300 boosted any recommendations on break pads and lines?? I can't upgrade to a big break kit due to my stock 17 factory wheels so for now want some good pads and lines should be in the 350 to 400hp range.. Thanks in advance

I would upgrade the rotors to slotted ones (even though some people think they are useless on the streets) and they come with pads when you get a deal. I noticed a big difference when I installed mine
Where in fl are you, I am building a turbo is300 in Tampa bay fl

I'm in north Tampa bay. I will be using a Greddy Manage Ultimate, No need for a standalone for me. I'm almost done putting everything together. I have a turbonetics kit, gte internals/head gasket, exhaust. R154 tranny. I need to make a gauge pod, get gauges, ecu, tranny parts to fit is300.
I'm hoping to have all the parts by next week, I'm just searching around for the deals

Good deal.. Im on a stock w-55 tranny which I know it will prob not hold for long I want a R154 does it just drop in? And do u have to get a new clutch kit? And if u don't mind how much was the r154?.. The tuner for my car lives in Tampa his name is alpha he is one of the best!! I got a good deal on a AEM stand alone that's why I went that route my car is pretty much done.. I have a 3 pod gauge cluster for the is that goes above the ac vents I'm gonna have to sell.. I'm new to these forums I would post pics of it and my build with my god speed intercooler but don't know how??
Gauges cost me about 600 wideband, boost gauge, and ETG... From defi they make a nice amber gauge to match our color cluster

The hawp hps pads are always a great choice. I typically go with them or ebc reds on my cars. In my opinion great performance at a reasonable price.

The R154 cost me $650 with drive shaft, I need a new bellhousing to fit my motor and clutch kit. You will also need to modify the shifter a little. There is someone selling on on craigslist in your area. Whats your gauge pod look like, I might buy it send pics. My builder is Justin at Hybrid motor sports. All he does is build and swap 2JZ'sOriginally Posted by Lextrd016

Do you plan on tracking the car? Because for street, even with 400hp, the stock brakes are fine. You're only going to make one high speed stop once, it's when you get on a track that you do lots of stops one after the other that you need upgraded brakes. The Fig's OEM+1 BBK is a good candidate and maybe go with slotted rotors if you're tracking the car.
